Nura on the Impact of Receiving a Lotus Award
Receiving the Lotus Award means so much to me. I never expected to be recognized or receive an award like this. I have always done my job from the heart. I chose the medical field because it is a rewarding profession, and my passion is to make a difference in people’s lives. Working with patients during difficult times has taught me the importance of kindness, patience, and compassion. I always try to treat my patients the way I would want myself or one of my family members to be treated, because any of us could be in that position one day.
I believe the kindness and care we give to others always come back to us when we need it most. My biggest reward has always been hearing a patient say that I made a difference in their life. I have heard that many times throughout my work, and those words truly stay with me. However, I never expected such a meaningful recognition like the Lotus Award. I am thrilled to be part of such an emotional and meaningful experience. Knowing that people have noticed the care and support I try to give every day makes me feel truly grateful and appreciated.
This award motivates me to continue growing in healthcare, to keep giving the best care I can to my patients, and to continue supporting my team in any way I can. I am very thankful and honored to receive this recognition. Thank you all for giving me this opportunity and allowing me to share these precious moments with my family and coworkers. This memorable occasion well be cherished forever.
